It seems that everyone’s talking about work/life balance these days. Many of my speeches, to participants around the world, have on the request of the companies booking me, had a portion of time allocated to work/life balance. In our rushed and eternally ‘on’ and highly-connected world, it seems there’s never enough time to slow down and reflect; to consider where we’re going, and whether we’re even rushing in the right direction. Around the world people are crying ‘poor’ in regards to time.
But are we really time-poor?
Are you interested in:
- Exploring the latest thinking around energy and how that relates to our choices of time? (People around the world are starting to realise that ‘time management’ is really about ‘energy management’.)
- Work/life balance, how that impacts on the productivity of both yourself and your team, and practical solutions of relevance to today’s business world?
- Easy and practical applications of one of my favourite phrases - ‘in order to go faster, first we must go slower’?
- A huge bundle of the ‘best practice’ ideas and practical time-saving and profit-improving methods of other experienced business operators?
- Networking with other thinking folk – people interested in exploring ideas, growing their business in sound long-lasting ways, with a care for the health of not just their business but also their people?
- Discovering beautiful out-of-the-way destinations and activities?
- And last but absolutely not least - good food, good wine and lots of fun?
Yes? Then join us for a weekend of discovery
Slow down, take a weekend off regular duties, get out of the city (if you’re a city dweller), and hang out for two days with a small group of like-minded people. (Our first one last November got rave reviews!)
What’s different about this weekend, you ask?
- It’s not a hard-working, hard-driving event with no time to internally process and integrate the information. Each session will be no longer than 3 hours, with delicious chunks of time in between – time to relax and play, time to chat with others, time to integrate and process new information, time to wander off quietly by yourself if that’s what you desire.
- The sessions will primarily be interactive open forum discussion groups. You will work, but it won’t feel like work.
- You’ll have plenty of time to share ideas and practical applications with other professional people similar to yourself.
- You’ll discover beautiful and unexpected places and events you’ve possibly not experienced before. They’re all off the normal conference track.
- We start on Friday 3pm and will finish early afternoon Sunday.
If you’d like to be part of this special group of people, we’d love to see you. Don’t delay - spaces are deliberately limited to increase the value of the experience.
Things you might want to know:
- It's designed for business owners and senior managers – people with the authority and ability to make changes in their organisation.
- You’ll get the most out of it if you’ve been in business for more than five years.
- You’ll book and pay for the motel and your meal expenses direct.
- All workbooks you’ll need will be provided and you’ll get a copy of one of my books. Just bring writing materials
Investment:
You’ll know that this kind of overnight event typically runs to between $1,500 - $2,000 and often even more. However, you’ll be part of only the second or third of these events we’ve done, so you get the benefit of our low introductory offer.
