PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT
And Room Setup Requirements for
Speaking or Training Engagement
with Robyn Pearce

This agreement is dated __________________ 2007 between Robyn Pearce Corporation Limited (RPCL) trading as GettingAGrip.com and _____________________

Robyn Pearce Corporation Limited and __________________ are under no obligation until this agreement has been signed by both parties. Please Note: The presenter is not confirmed for this engagement until one copy of this documentation, and 50% deposit, have been received by RPCL.

Air fares and accommodation.
(The Client)_________________ is responsible for flying Robyn Pearce from Auckland to _______________, and for 1 or 2 night's accommodation, depending on available flights. (If we can source other work in the region at the same time, we will spread the expenses as appropriate, but cannot guarantee this).

2. (Option 1)

SPEECH ROOM-SETUP REQUIREMENTS (If one of these two options is not required, please delete)

(The Client)__________________ is responsible for providing support equipment for Robyn's presentation, specifically including the following items:

Basic requirements

  • A table at the back of the room, near the exit door, to display books and tapes.
  • A table at the front of the room, to the side or against the front wall for Robyn's materials
  • A flip-chart stand and paper (butcher's paper or flip chart paper)
  • A jug of room-temperature water (no ice) and a glass
  • If more than 30 people, Robyn prefers to work with a lapel microphone
  • If more than 50 people, Robyn may wish to use an OHP or PowerPoint. We
    will discuss this with you.

Lighting

Robyn likes to work with as much light on the stage and in the room as possible. Whilst we realise this can effect data projection, we have designed our images so that they work in average lighting environments. Obviously this has a lot to do with the quality of the data projector provided. If narrow spots are to be provided rather than a stage wash, please ensure that 3 locations on the stage are spotted - stage left, front centre and stage right.

Music

Robyn likes to create an 'up' atmosphere by having music playing in the room as the attendees arrive. Please let us know what sound system is available. We prefer a CD player and are happy to supply music.

2. (Option 2)

TRAINING ROOM-SETUP REQUIREMENTS (may be applicable to break-out sessions for small conference groups, depending on numbers and time allocated. If in doubt, please discuss with our office)

(The Client)__________________ is responsible for providing support equipment for Robyn's presentation, specifically including the following items:

  • Flip chart stand and paper.
  • Water/jugs/mints for each participant.
  • A rubbish bin near the front of the room.
  • A CD/Tape deck (ghetto blaster) if possible. Please notify us as to availability.
  • If possible a U shape arrangement, and table space for each participant.
  • A table at the back of the room to display books, tapes, or other items.
  • A table at the front of the room, to the side or against the front wall for training tools, workbooks etc.
  • A chair or stool at the front of the room.
  • An electrical socket close to the front table is preferred, otherwise an extension cord.

3. RECORDING OF PRESENTATION

Robyn Pearce Corporation Limited's material may not be recorded or duplicated in any way
without the written consent of RPCL and the negotiation of an additional fee if applicable.

4. TRAINING NOTES ********** (optional clause)

  • A Master of the workbook notes will be provided by RPCL for ____________________ to prepare for each participant, on the understanding that the material is copyright and may not be subsequently reproduced without our permission and by payment of a licencing fee.

5. PAYMENT TERMS

  • Booking not confirmed until 50% Deposit received.
  • Final payment 7 days after the event, unless it is an on-going project, in which case progress payments will be arranged.
  • All fees are quoted exclusive of GST, unless otherwise specified
  • Cancellation policy. If you cancel more than 1 month out from the event we will refund the deposit or hold the fee towards the next event booked (This can be your choice). However if the cancellation is less than 1 month to the event then the deposit will not be refunded.
  • In the event of cancellation by RPCL, all monies paid will be refunded to The Client. Where possible and if The Client so chooses, an alternative Presenter may be provided in lieu of the refund.
